  i'm not totally new here, as i'm reading since some time...then i tried to sign up but had some technical issue with the email,eventually recovered..... i'm from north italy, for your info from the region where the covid is worse.

  Where we live in the US- the old rich ppl think that the stay at home order was to prevent them from getting it- so now that they are stubborn and misinformed they won't be doing much contributing to the local Economy even if it does open back up because they don't have any interest in it- it doesn't hurt them in their minds- whereas those of us who do require tourism and the Economy to come back are shamed for our desire to get back to what feeds us...on Facebook, and local neighborhood websites etc... It has become a hotly divisive and debated issue here!

  New Jobs Coming? Where Have You Worked at?

  with many people's jobs been put and "on hold" and other people's jobs going away for good, i couldn't help but think about all the different jobs i've had over the years.

  i have been able to adapt and make do.

  maybe this will kick in again....or maybe not.

  I love this thread because I also have had many many jobs to keep well fed... But unfortunately since we are only faded- it will definitely out me to reveal my long list. The career I have now will either go away or become highly unprofitable due to the close contact I have with people. So time to reinvent myself again. Anyone work at home remotely and like it?

  this topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.

  latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.

  the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

  LV101 I think you are on to something- my acupuncturist said they same thing from communicating with colleagues around the world- they have also speculated about possible different strains as well

  Coronavirus Positive

  hey all,.

  i'm day six of isolation, confirmed to have coronavirus.

  i have been seeing very sick cv positive patients over the last month in my a&e role (emergency physician) it was inevitable i would contract it.. just wanted to give some symptom and treatment advice, it's anecdotal but may help.. started as sore throat and headache, then croaky voice, then dry cough, then episodic transient fevers, all this over the first few days.

  We just watched part 1, there is another part tomorrow. I'm a mix of so many emotions. Even though I was a born in and really didn't choose this religion for myself, I'm embarrassed that I was ever associated with this high control group (cult). The reporter has been reporting the case top notch. The abused they have interviewed are credible and endearing. I'm not sure if either of you ladies from Oklahoma are on this forum, if you are, I want you to know how much your story has touched me😓
